The waves lapped gentle onto the shore as a cold, eerie mist rolled across its surface.

Dawn was upon me as I stood alone and watched the horizon.

A fresh, moist breeze entered my nose and filled my lungs.

Silence reigned as I smiled to myself and realised how lucky I was to be alive.
