A short piece of fiction under 100 words, it describes how claustrophobia feels.
He's gobbling me up. The great blue caterpillar. Head first I am pulled in. I yell stop! No! But he doesn't listen. Further and further I am pulled inside until I am pressed under his weight. I start to cry and gasp for breath. I can only scream inside my head now. Stop! He is heavy and I cannot move. He begins to grind, grind, grind. Stop. Please stop. Finally he stops and begins to regurgitate me slowly, so slowly, inch by inch. Expelled at last, I gasp for air. I am free but still I cannot breathe.
