Wishing for the dreams, I once had.

Once upon a time.

A long, time ago.

When the world was magical.

A golden misty world with so much wonder.

When dreams and reality mixed.

I danced in the daisies.

My music was

the sounds of the winds singing in the trees,

the fluttering wings of butterflies,

the buzzing sound of bumble bee’s

and

the gurgling flowing stream.

Now the world seems cold

The dream forgotten reality to take its place.

The music seems to have taken on a haunted sad sound.

The birds cry,

The winds tear shrieking though the trees.

Coyotes howl with disdain.

The dance no longer flows free,

it stutters and jumps,

abruptly slowing and stopping at times.

How I long for the visions

of the magical,

golden world
again.
