hidden pain
Of Dreams and Madness


The dark creeps upon me
Engulfing my every sense
Emotions run high
And my thoughts are tense


Evading and ever so elusive
Is the peace of which I dream
Quite times of mind
Are past or so it would seem


Hideaway these feelings
Tuck them deep inside
Paint on that smile
The one people expect
Dying inside all the while
