Satirical war poem, based around WW1. Influenced by Sassoon
  Eternal White

The Sons were sent out to bless the realms of this fair earth
They were taught to take shelter,
And defend themselves against Black Knights.
The Angels came and bade us to fight,
With long white fingers and their harps of heartstrings.
They bade us to bodly go and blacken the enemy.
The Angels planned for us a mighty feast,
And promised us its consumption,
Its joyful consumption.
They were the Angels of Eternal White.

The Sons rode out into the sun.
They shot the Black Knights who would have them as trohpies,
Trophies of barbarity.
The Sons went on into the rain, and the thick smog.
And up high the Angles with their harps would gather new strings,
They sung to a sweet minor,
' We control the Sons of Adam and bend them to our fight.
We sweet governors of the land are your alliance of Eternal White'
