Constant oppression leads to shot nerves
I tip-toe
holding my breathe
watching, waiting
crrrrack!
an eggshell.
I deflate

The exhaustion,
the anxiety,
the constant fear.
What now?
What now?

Is the cereal box angled wrong?
Did my shower take 28 seconds too long?
Were walls vacuumed improperly?

Please, tell me another way in which you can control me.
Show me your superiority.
