This is a poem about a person trying to find him self in the family
Where have I been and where am I going?
These are the answers, that I am not knowing.

I get these awful feelings, that come from deep inside
Feeling all this anger, wanting to go and hide.

We all have a dark side, but some of us are weak,
That is why the Good Lord says, just turn the other cheek

This part of my life of darkness, can’t say that I am proud
To say these words “I am sorry” is hard to say aloud

I toss and I turn in dreading of tomorrow
For the faces that I see will be full of sorrow

So Lord give me the strength before it’s too late
To ask for forgiveness and let go of all this hate

The person they see has so much anger
But with their support it will make me stronger

Show us the way, back into the light
So that we as a family, to each other be right

Stay with us Lord and show us the way
If we ever feel lost to you we will pray

We will seek for you Lord every day every night
Because without you, there will be no light
