This is another poem about the "boy" i first "loved".
Sitting alone in an empty chair,
Feeling as if I want to pull out my hair,
I had done something wrong,
You left, you're gone.
\Painful memories flash through my mind,
You were my secret valentine,
Of that day, I remember this,
Our first kiss.
\That moment had started it all,
We were together through summer and fall,
Then we began to drift apart,
I should never have given you a piece of my heart,
You swore you would always be true,
I should never have trusted you.
\You lied and cheated your way all along,
I never imagined our love was so wrong,
While you were with me, was it her you dreamed of?
Through all of our days, we're really in love?
Now that you're gone, I look back and cry,
I can't help but wondering if I should have tried.
\Why don't you love me? Why don't you care?
What is it about her that makes you unaware?
Does she love you like I do?
Does she take care of you?
I guess we'll never know, for you have gone away,
All that's left of us, Is yesterday
