Have you ever wished the glass slipper fit?
Even strong girls want a white dress
They're just waiting for their turn
Even princesses think their lives are a mess
Evil stepmothers aren't always so stern

No matter how beautiful that glass slipper may be
It has got to be hell for the feet
But I guess it would be worth it just to see
If the prince would notice and your eyes would meet

But I'm not a princess in a castle
I'm a school girl that doesn't fit in
I'm that strong girl that's always such a hassle
But there's no way I'll lower my chin

Pretending to be completely independent
I act like a huge success
But when I always play the man in arrangements
I dream of being a princess

No, I don't even own a pair of high heels
But I don't mind wearing a dress
I can't even cook macaroni meals
Hell, my love life's a compete mess

But even strong girls want a white dress
I'm just waiting for my turn
Maybe I'm not a real princess
But true love I still want to learn
