About a friend in deep depression.
Within darkness this place
Is so greatly engulfed.
Yet against time ww race
Before enough has to be enough.

Thinking of the dried bloodstains
That litter your floor.
Liki sinister polka-dots
Or the remains of a bloody downpour.

Now ticks away the oh so quick minutes
Whether or not we want to be
For you we are all in it!
We gight to save your soul
Before life takes its final toll.

The street flickers over you
As you cry on the curb.
You don't deserve this fate, with a soul
So beaten; so unrightfully disturbed.

But this is not the road to take!
Do not pray the Lord your soul to take!
This life is the life you create.
You must hold out, please don't break!

And now ticks away the oh so quick minutes.
And whether or not we want to be
For you we are all in it!
I know hard it is
To live the life you live.
But tell me you will not give!

Promise me you will not give!

As we run the darkness grows deeper
And far back, I hear the entrance collapse.
There's no going back from here.
We must brave the blackness and creatures!

But in the distance something catches my eye.
Glints of white and hints of a bright blue sky!
At the end of the tunnel I see a shining light.
Praise God, we may be alright.
