Searching For The Lord

Where are you Lord
I've searched for thee
Beyond the brook
By the Acacia tree

The Lord replied
Yes, I was there
You were never alone
I am everywhere

Where are you Lord
You're hard to find
I can't find thee
I must be blind

The Lord replied
Open wide your eyes
I am everywhere
Beneath the skies

Where are you Lord
I'm growing old
I've searched in vain
You're here I'm told

The Lord replied
We were never apart
Now my child
Search your heart
