I was on a site that i like one day and found myself wanting to write about it. Enjoy!
I woke up thinking about the club i had been in the night
before. There were several strange people there but i
seemed to fit in perfectly. I lay there in my bed reliving
the nights events. That was when i remembered him, what
was his name... "Sean" the name felt good leaving my mouth.
I looked over at the clock and sighed knowing it was time
to get up. Finally i sat up letting my legs fall over the
side of the bed. I caught the image of myself in the
mirror..."hiddeous" was all i could think.

"Im really going to have to move that mirror." I was
talking to myself again. There has got to be help for that.

I let my feet hit the floor. It was cold but i felt
nothing. Pushing myself up off the bed i headed for the
shower. The water felt nice on my cold skin. Being a
vampire was rough at times. You never felt things the same
as you did when you was human. I felt the familiar thirst
starting in on me. I should have went hunting like i meant
to last night. Something just had me drawn to that club.
The burn in my throat was a nasty reminder of what happens
when you abuse your feeding time. I jumped a bit startled
when the doorbell rang. I was focusing so much on my
thoughts today that i never heard someone approaching. I
wrapped a towel around myself and went my room to slip on
something. I grabbed some clean jeans and a simple shirt
and quickly ran down the stairs.

"Whose there?" I leaned toward the door to listen for some
sound of danger. I heard normal human type sounds. I
peeked through the peep hole for a second and there stood
the guy from the club. Had i given him my address? I didnt
think i was that careless. Was there someone at the club
who knew me enough to know where i live? It was rather
distrubing to me but i opened the door anyways. Curiosity
rang through me and for some reason i couldnt shake it.

"Hello?" Sean seemed startled by my sopping wet appearance.

"I.. uh... Did i catch you at a bad time?" He looked as if
he was hiding a smile.

"A little yes, but you are here now so please come in." I
stepped aside a little faster then i probably should have.
He walked past me into my house. I saw the normal human
signs of a curious man. He was looking around my house. As much as this man looked human something smelled off about him. I just wasnt sure what it was. My senses were off which triggered panic in me. I needed to feed to bring them back up to perfection. Still i wasnt sure i recognized the scent of what he was.

"I'm sorry i can come back later if you like?" I just shook my head and followed him to the couch.

"So what may i ask brings you to my home..or even how you knew where i lived?" I was curious and didnt feel like beating around the bush. Somehow i knew this guy could sense more about me the i was telling. Again he smiled for a minute as if reliving a funny moment in his head. This reaction irritated me.

"Well when i met you i was entranced by you. I decided when you left that i must get to know you better. The downfall was i had been left with no way of finding you. Not to mention you dont leave a trail to follow."

I shifted in my seat to more of a quick fighting position. I was ready to fight if the need arose. I cocked my head to the side as if telling him to continue because he had noted the change in my seating.

"I dont mean to alarm you, i know more then you think i do. Maybe that is what has you so alert, but there is no need for it. Im here on a friendly visit. Would it help if i told you what i am?" I relaxed just a fraction and nodded.

"Ok well i am a ShapeShifter.
