did you open every gift of Christmas?
Forgotten Gift

Behind a festive tree,
I sit forgotten.
Shoved aside,
shinier packages
caught their eyes.
A manger scene
is where I rest.
No one thinks
of Me waiting here.
The Gift of Christmas
remains unopened.
