This is a poem about life.
She's driving smoothly along,
with no problems.
Sometimes the car gets stuck in traffic,
but she always makes it out.
Nothing can happen to the car, it's invincible.
That is,
until the crash.
The life threatening crash that leads to more things.
Where will this leave me? She thinks.
Will I end up upsidedown in a ditch?
Will I come out of this with no scratches?
There's no way to know what will happen.
In that split second before impact she wonders if she'll even make it out alive.
Maybe another person will die during this accident.
Who knows.
Maybe one driver had been drinking,
maybe.
Maybe this wouldn't have happened if something went differently.
The crash doesn't just effect one driver, it effects so many other people too.
So think before you drive,
and be careful with your driving.
And maybe, just maybe
we'll all make it out alive.
