Describes the effect of materialism and ignorance in young middle-class teens.
Conceal your true self,
Under all that you please.
Suffocated by material,
Succumbed to its disease.

Confuse your true self,
With the things that you own.
With the size of your wallet,
And the soundtrack of your soul.

But you know what matters most -
And you say you give a damn,
For the world and its faults,
Yet it's all far too sad.

For you speak,
And do nothing.
And an illusion is cast.

Oh how cool must it feel,
To have never come last.
