Written when i was little and it shows in the wording, but still one of my favorites.
Destiny

Concrete giants fill the sky
With smoke and soot mountains high
People rush about ignoring the flowers
They only have time for 5 minute showers

A short time given on God's green Earth
Has turned the land into a terrible birth
Trees torn down, animals killed
Humanity destroys life it once filled

But in the distance among the darkened stars
A flicker of resides in the scars
One man could tip the scale of life
And take away all of natures strife

Keep hoping and wishing if you can
For destiny itself lies in the hands of one man
