A piece dedicated to the endless search of happiness.
We all are kings
Who wear the crowns,
Who sit on thrones
And wear no frowns.

You just know all
And all know you.
You’re always right,
You’re always true.

Reap the grapes
From the vine,
For they are yours
And none are mine.

You’re caped in light,
Alone on stage,
The spot is bright
But none have stayed.

The squires have quit,
The jester is gone,
The knights have all left.
But you’re still never wrong.

Great empires would crumble,
World powers would fall,
If all men were royal
And the crown was for all.

For every man thinks himself
A god or a mighty lord;
All others are useless to him
And all their words are ignored.

Since all kingly incompetence
Will never acquire purity,
Granted wishes for the few
Means destruction of all eternity.
