A poem on how the death of a special person, leaves behind a beautiful spirit.
Your posture is tall and fronted; you hold the earth beneath you,

Your feet directing towards your heart as it is chases its fortune,

And you with your hands reaching out through the barbed wire which protects you,

And your words swirl around you as they comfort and reflect you,

Your heart my love, on fire with the passion within you,

For you are a fighter, whom has struggled, in a short story, a song and a poem,

You have created yourself fully, on your own.

Your light it shines bright, from New York to Ireland and to Greece,

Your love of music it threaded so deep,

Your writing and its beauty, your ability to art words in just one line,

Your talents of capturing hearts, capturing moments and capturing time,

And your clock still ticking as our love for you has grown,

Your life and how you lived it, only repairable with time,

And time that was stolen, snatched unforgivably and unexplained,

No goodbyes were needed; you left without the pain,

Your journey had promptly come to an end, too soon to say the least,

But your purpose well served, until that day we meet,

So my dear farewell and goodnight, you thought us something powerful,

Never give up without a fight.
