As a parent speaking to a child.
May you only be embraced by light
Hugged by the sun
Never touched by silver moon
Nor dark clouds above you

May your smile always stay bright
Thinking only of pleasantries
Never of harsh words
But of praise for you

May you never be covered by the night
As she drapes her blanket down
Stay hidden from the dark
Forever right, in my arms
