When looking back, you start to realize some things, you get stronger, and able to go on
Sometimes I wish I had the strength like you to just carry on
Close my eyes and shut out the memories that were once ours
You left, you left only to return
To conquer this voice that was once mine

There was news you see
You didn’t come to plead your love for me
You were mine for the taking....
..... but your heart was shared by two worlds

Torn, shredded and worn out, I stood before you...
.....even then the decision wasn’t entirely me for the taking
Now, as I cry these tears to an endless drought
I wished that for once I was the center of your every thought

You thrust a knife into a convalescent heart.
You knew the path to my every susceptible being
Motionless I lay in the blood and tears you left behind
No more would I latter in the race for your biggest tournament

No more can this broken heart pity your colorful world
You took what was once a masterpiece...
.... and mold it into little pieces of nothingness
Now you can be the first artist of wrecking a soul.......
A soul, a heart, now drained by your command

I lash out on your pitiful existence
What kind of man you’d be, if you’d carry your love on a string
And as you fill your future based on pleasure and lust
One thing surely missed would be my undying trust
