Short Poem
When Clouds Cry

I scream into the pillow,
so it doesn’t make a sound.
While the thunder outside
Booms- shaking the ground.
Now rain drops slide down from the sky,
sometimes the clouds have to cry.
Salty tears slide down my face,
they can not mask my distaste.
Rose stained petals make such a mess.
strung along the floor, an anxious lover’s dress.
Blood smeared hands tremble up at me.
Look in the mirror, what do you see?
A complete stranger glares back at she.
Oh, what has the world done to thee?
