A small poem about dismay :)
Anger and resentment pound at my door
Should I walk over and let them inside
If so it might damage me and my pride
And leave me an emotional invalid on the floor

There’s no way life should be this hard
Working all your life to get to the top
But from there it’s a very steep drop
And no way to walk away unscarred

Dealing with life’s daily stress
Never time to better your life
Living with continuous strife
People telling you how to dress

And then all of that is instantly gone
New fears and doubts now arise
But should this be any surprise
A day with a brand new dawn

Alas, in the end it doesn’t matter
Enjoy life and every day you can
Seems to always be the best plan
And try to ignore the useless chatter
