tragic poem about a lost phantom in a delusion
**Phantom**

Awoken, by a storm, a gloomy robed whore,
she mimicks my eyes, blinking twice,
magnificence, glistening at a distance,
visuals are blurry, can't hold the composure from dizziness,

Ailments imbue derailments,
the captain's conquest is a failure,
they lost the navigator and a heroic sailor,
but a phantom remains,
at the bottom of the deck,

reaping tears, eyes wept,
continuing down the stairs,
the woman kept - a secret from the captain -
and this was the delusional phantom.

was it my illusive feel to see to hold?
was it her inspire to rebuke the untold?

who tells the story when the phantom is norwegian
cannot speak his language,
a foreign phantom it tis, quite a disadvantage,

sweeping shattered glass off of the veranda,
cruel persuasion like Joseph Goebbel's propaganda,

What hides behind the curtain,
and lies in somnolence from conversion,
when the writer curtails her magnum opus,
who will find certainty,
buried in delerium's cobwebs of magnanimity?

hollow words, stale sermons, undeserved,
spoiled rotten,
the phantom is her prisms wince,
a tameless flinch,

the phantom cannot escape the mirror of mourning,
but it sees the dancer, her eyes sparkle, she glides,
her smile widens, full of laughter, she fights off her lover's nuisance,

what loathsome couple, moreover bleeding corpuscle,
a whirlwind of water washes the vessel up, and here we have it.

a policewoman finds the shipwreck, on it a dead woman and a captain,
and here she screams: her eyes apon the phantom
