Dead dream is a tragic poetry that describes the pain of a broken woman in love!
I lie on my bed
After a dead day
Holding my pillow
Out of loneliness
I slip into a dream
Unaware and ignorant
That you frowned
I can feel
The soft touch
Of your hand on my palm
With our fingers clutched!
And the hundreds of kisses
You caress me with
And your promising gentle stares
With the whisper
Of your sweet voice in my ears
Calling me beautiful
A hundred times!
You rest your head on my shoulders
Talking about my smiles
And it’s the loud noise that I wake up to
With my moist eyes
And a wet pillow beneath
With echoes of your voice
Calling out my name
A hundred times!
Now that I want you to tell me the words I need
You aren’t here to take away my fear’s seed
I want to cry in your arms asking sorry
Only to hear you say I love you!!
