Girl Gets Drunk After Accidental Death of Friend
I'm getting drunk again
With Charlie ( my man)
And the cats ( dance around the room)

And I might have taken something
Stronger than the booze ( and bigger than the room)
Charlie is perfectly mine ( and dancing to)
He wants to know why I do what I do ( cheat on him with you and you and you...)

The truth is
I never loved you ( or your money so fuck you)
And I meant to leave yesterday ( but  the cops took my license away)

He tells me I'm doing it again
Talking to myself ( Can't he see the room is full?)
And drinking to much ( Half my weight in booze)
Straight out of the bottle ( A list of things I shouldn't do )

He saves my head from hitting the floor
And asks for me to stay alive ( Can't he see my lungs are trying?)
Yells for the phone ( That I tore away from the wall)
For me ( one more night )

But I can't I won't
It's time to say goodbye ( The cats are getting closer )
He jams his finger down my throat ( Something I regularly do)
My salvation is spit and foam ( Quit and Rome)

He sighs
Says he loves me ( I don't believe in love )
Tells me I was almost gone ( I'll  try again it won't be long)

Then he turns to me
Like he heard every word I thought ( Like the cats that walk along)

'It was never your fault'

( Tell that to the body on the floor)
But still I smile ( a lie is worth while)

' I know'
( No I don't)
