I wrote this poem after seeing my mom and stepdad together hoping I have that one day.
My darling
My love
How to tell of the feelings in my heart
With every thought, with every sight
O how those butterflies flutter inside
My darling
My love
No other takes presence in my heart
My one and only
With every breath, with every beat, with every fiber
I give you my heart from now until forever
O how much you mean to me
The light in my darkness
The shoulder I cry on
My darling
My love
