A poem about the first relationship, the first break-up..
Some whispered words,a broken heart, and tearful goodbyes.
A promise to remain friends,a promise to remain close, given in long sighs
First love, the first sting, and the first heartbreak,
the most special, and one of the most precious memories that can never be replaced

Sobbing for months,and days,
thinking no one will ever be able to take their place;
All those sleepless nights poring of old photographs,
all those days thinking of special memories, those shared laughs

The years of pure,innocent feelings,
so guarded yet so revealing,
the first look and smile,
the first time you saw their name displayed on your mobile,
the first time they held your hand, the first time they picked you up for a date,
reminding yourself of your parents' warning to not be out very late,

The fast forwarding then, memories get dim,
the first fight over some stupid thing,
it doesnt matter, you shove it away,
and go on dreaming for another month and a day

Time passes by,some things don't change,
a look and a smile is still for you,at least that is still the same,
the long dry spell-you start feeling you won't find anyone,
your friends try to cheer you up,keep trying to make you have fun,

You try,you put on a show for them,
they love you, they are not like HIM,
they were always there, forever by your side,
and all your guy and girl friends lended you their shoulders to cry

An unexpected place,an unexpected smile,
with a shy look, you meet his eye,
he comes up to you,and talks to you,
and then a strong voice in your heart whispers,he's the one for you
