Untitled love poetry. May the gods have mercy on us.
It's been a slow burn with her. My feelings have been a steady compass at friendship yet over the past few months simple friendship has given way to more and I am invigorated by each day and what it brings. My poem attempts to capture the moment when that all changed. May I find the fortitude one day to give this to her.

Thank you for reading, and I appreciate all feedback.

Gentleness; the makings of your sweet caress,
Grounding: your fingers confounding
twisted locks of my hair trapped with you.

Softness; the breath exhale by which I am blessed,
Sweetly; your arms in mine wrapped completely,
manifests a verdant embrace.

Tenderness; my head against your breast,
Ticking; your rhythmic heart picking
up my thoughts in sonant beats.

Silence; tongue-tied by lovesick blindness,
Symphony; we two create a melody,
hear my heart-waltz pursuit.
