poem, 4 verses
Deceived by our eyes to shun the night
That fear beholds us as we cling to the light
Desperate to see forward yet scared to look back
Lost in the path we decided to track

Why is it so that we fear of our end
That life is so meaningful we begin to pretend
That achievements we make in things we succeed
When all in the end when cut then shall bleed

Few to what said would then say why
Discard trust to discern the truth from a lie
As they who do speak would make a decree
For what truth is to say that we are all free

Upon us the day the sky does fall down
In our burdens and lore do we crumble and drown
Desperate for life we cling to our breath
When all we can hope for to save us is death
