a philosophical poem on ones take on life

A thousand words cannot say,
What the language of silence can,
That unspoken, speaks in a million ways;
Than speechless words which never began.

What reaches the soul, is that untold,
Sometimes 'feel' is more powerful than 'speak';
Its an understanding, a bond, which will unfold;
A subtle strength or a weakened streak.

Honesty dwells in the eyes, it is said;
They reflect the heart, overlapping the mind;
Of conversations they hold the invisible thread;
Of people who've left the world behind.

In love, in friendship, in the throes of spite;
In anger, in pain, in joy and delight;
The barricade of words, silence defies;
Silence speaks as well as crucifies.

Its the communication most often misunderstood;
For those who trust, it seals the band;
The pseudo relations it ends for good,
It reaches the heart when u just hold a hand.

So if u have the courage, let your silence talk;
Let it bare the heart, all words it will mock;
It wont be regretted, just a feeling so glad;
As u walk away thinking this is the best conversation you've ever had.
