A life poem

An open book they say,

Life can be like this,

Yet I have jumped into the great pool only to be spit out on the shore,

my hands in the stones,

crawled back from the abyss,

only to find myself the same place as before,

Head in my hands,

shaking off the cold,

Trying to dry the pages my book is pretty worn,

Then something deep inside of me,

It reaches for the warm,

Every word upon my pages fall upon the floor,

In all my travels and all my days,

I conquer and I lose,

I've learned from every up and down,

Yet I'm still confused,

I'll find the time,

I'll find my way,

As I do every time,

To rewrite every single page until the day I die............................
