its not my best work. i made it while listening to Loreena Mckennitt
thoughts flow
like ribbons
around my head.

my breath
becomes harsh,
my eyes close.

i listen closely
to the soft whisper
in my ear.

this man,
a voice
i do not recognize.

he tells me
to jump,
to end my life.

i dont want
to listen
yet i have no choice.

a hand pulls
at my scrawny arm,
she doesnt let me go.

her grasp
is tight
yet in a way gentle.

tears stream
down my face,
matching hers.

how did she know
where i was,
what i had been planning?

i stand still for a moment
as she stares a me
with dissapointment in her eyes.

i plead her to forgive me
i didnt want
this to happen.

she pulled me close,
holding me
in her arms.

I awake in my bed,
suprised at my surroundings.
how did i get here?

a sense
of realization
fills my mind.

one thought
comes to mind
'it never happened?'
