fairy poem
a dreamer and a wanderer
went out one night to play
seated on a lily pad
they found a sprightly fae

the fae said to the dreamer
come see our glimmering jewels.
the fae said to the wanderer
this is a chance to leave those fools.

He told them of his revelries
he lured them in with sweets
he invited the to fairyland
to forget their defeats

the nymph named one condition,
if you come you cant go back
the pair - senses lacking
immediately began to pack

at first everything went well
they saw the sights to see
but then the tricky little nymph
devoured them with glee

the moral of this tragic tale;
  beware the little ones.
don't eat their sticky candy treats
not matter how they fawn.

don't believe their pretty lies
don't become another pawn
