a poem of the abused and broken
she sits, like a traumatized child

eyes clenched tears pour a torrent of unwanted misery

she shakes uncontrollaby as she tries to hold in the pain

what has she done to deserve this means of torture

hot water falls on her soiled skin

trying to wash the memories away like they were dirt

but every time she stops she still feels dirty, used and broken

she is no longer living she is just here, a shell full of unshed tears

arms wrapped around herself

to be held without getting hurt to protect her self, her heart her broken body

no more pain shown she hides away from herself and the world a wall on every side

emotionless, cold were is the love that used to be in her life

gone washed away with the memories she washed from her mind and broken body

eyes stare boring into her

always watched but never spoken to she feels dirty and feels unwanted

so many eyes she feels upon her yet they know nothing

nothing of her pain, nothing of her horrible memories

she falls into the shadows

just as many like her do, unoticed unloved empty shells

were is the justice in this world when many become as she has alone, hurt

broken
