Always after the wrong woman. Makes her most attractive and prized over all else.
She dances in a ring of shadows
A tango in the night
Her simple beauty – thorough
Amplifying a soft moon light
Her swaying feet carry her aloft
As she defies gravity - defies the Gods
The trough of her back – ever so soft
I watch and observe
From a measurable ways
For I can’t motion the nerve
Nor summon the courage to say:
I think you are incredible
You move in a striking way
The sound of your voice sparks a fire within
And had it not been for him,
I would vow to fulfil your every whim
But I will carry you within the heart
Of hearts
We speak as friends
Until the next time
We are strangers again
