this world has been no friend of....
Tragically beautiful.
These dreams eat me alive.
This is my reality.
Any wonder I survive.

This world has been
No friend of mine.
And dreams – its “kin” –
Fools me every time.

Its father  – “lies” –
Its brother – “fear” –
Someone please take me far.
Far away from here.

And how am I?
I’m way past fine.
Seen less of “Hi(s)”
And more sad “Goodbye(s)”.

And from within,
I slowly die.
This world has been
No friend of mine.
