a woman waiting for the man she loves to leave his girlfriend
I sit here and wonder why a day lasts so long
I sit here and wait until you decide she's gone-
Hiding in the shadows of the moon
I know you can't say good-bye so soon-
I have to have patience; I have to have pride
I know that I want you; I know deep inside-
I just can't wait for the day
That you smile at me
I feel that you see inside of me and it hurts you to know-
It breaks my heart a little more each time you have to go-
So don't think you have to lie to me
Or keep me in the dark
Because in my wandering mind, there always is a spark
I can't help by want to know when you'll be there for me
I can't help but wonder, when you'll smile only at me-
