some thoughts about relationships

" Just One Heart And No End "

How is it you do things that you love,
but not with the one,you say you love?
The weekends I spend praying to Him above,
as my phone just collects more dust.

Why is silence, better than to talk,
when you know that talking will work?
And why is not trying, a much better walk,
when you know that it leaves us both hurt?

How come you 're afraid, to take a chance?
Is it because you've been hurt by your trust?
Then tell me why, I have to suffer,
from all of the others disgust?

You say you love me like none before.
Then why am I sitting here waiting?
My heart is like an open door.
Shall I close it without debating?

This might be a dumb question for you to answer,
but how much do you really care?
If you really love me, give me a reason,
and show me you will be there.

Sure it's convenient for you to pull away,
and leave me all alone here.
So why not take a chance and stay,
and we'll make this a better year?

So once and for all I'll say it again.
I love you with all my heart.
Don't leave me broken; we're not just friends,
and you knew that when this all started.

Being in love is not some game,
where someone always wins or lose.
But love and life's arrows take aim,
and God helped us pick and choose.

And I'll tell you something, if it's all the same,
my heart can't take much more bruise.
So come back to me and make it plain,
that this love you don't want to lose.

I'll hold you close and look in your eyes
and your smile will melt me away.
We can bow our heads or look at the sky
and ask God to make our love stay.
