Looking back through the years
Laughter and tears
It's with you that i share them
My hopes and my fears

It's not always easy
Who said it would be, but
It's with you that i share them
It's you and it's me

Two precious souls
Placed into our care
It's with you that i share them
These children so rare

I give thanks for you daily
These days to embrace
It's with you that i share them
With honour and praise

Take my love, take my heart
They're yours till the end
It's with you that i share them
My soul mate, my friend
