A story told thru my words

depression is a sad mans confession
that the answer to the question is hidden against discretion.
as he struggles to find the truth, plainly hidden from his view
as we bring up the discussion, of our emotions concussion
our damaged souls, forever broken, forever worn on death's token
as we end connections to long time friends
we take a right turn towards our dead end
but we hope to find help on lover's lane
and now fresh cuts feed now's pain
now we travel through blood now out of water
but hurt runs thick from the wrists of a daughter
as tears cloud her vision
as she bathes in crimson
she decides its for the best
as she lays her soul to rest
silent pleads constantly ignored
has brought her daughter to the lord
tortured by her endless guilt
a pain that'll be forever felt
a temporary problem solved by a permanent solution
only brings about broken lives and more confusion.
