This is a poem that I had to create from a memior essay I wrote in my english class.
Down the road I go
To a place of the unknown.
New friends, a new town, a new home.

Down the road I go
Not traveling back into the past.
Not knowing if this time it’s going to last.

Down the road I go
A new beginning, a fresh start.
But my old life, my memories, my friends will never part.
