A little something I wrote after a night out. The way others make us feel, huh?
You hide in the most peculiar places
A creature unto your own
Fix me up, dress me down
Take me all across this crazy town

I wear the banner, I am the fool
I wear the banner, I am the fool
Each day you come to me
Each day you come
I feel it slip away
You make me so alone
A parody unto my own

I wear the banner, I wear the crown
Dress me up, send me down
A fool for the night
Wear me out, take me in
A fool for leaving to begin
