a poem about life

"Tangerine"

Pulling tigers from the cage
on this wicked unforgiven stage.
Spiritualy driven horses came
to race along the waters edge
to win again the dog tired
and dead and beaten down.

Only the strong survive.
Its the fastest horse who
stays alive to thrive.

Its the king wearing the largest
crown who follows the man down
in his hole of disease.
To make sure he doesnt
ressurect his role.

The plague of societys cancers
intrudes on the weak.

The sky is the limit if you
could just spare me some time,
for a minute or a dime
for a ticket on that train.
So i can believe again and again.

My loves where have you been?
Where have you seen the light?

I want you to let it go.
Let go of me.
Let go of me.
Let go of me.
so i can fly, in my forever dream.

Tangerine oh beautiful tangerine!
Feed me and my youngbloods
and see what i mean when
i say our skins are no longer green.

But oh the beautiful color of tangerine.
