Poem about the season change
Awakening to the reality that cold was no more
what did the day have in store

Frozen was gone without preamble
Planting could start but, what a gamble

Winters seem endless when along but half way
until by surprise an unusually warm day

It comes out of no where the breeze so mild
feeling like the touch of an angelic child

Believing the ground's, frost dismissed
spade plunged earth deep and carefully kissed

Why now, in late afternoon
the wind rides cool like the January moon?

The day warm, was just a tease
of others to come, if you please.
