When poets die, where does their poetry go?
ONE MORE…

The poet whose body
Lies prone in his bed
Once gave us his verses
And prose …now he’s dead.

His body all curled
In a fetal position
No visible signs
Of his rare compositions.

And yet, I think of
His last poem, instead
Of the unwritten verses
Now trapped in his head.
