Coming out of my depression poem.
I cried,
I wept,
the feeling crept,
and down the steps,
my demons met,
to create a life,
of seasons set,
which were infect,ed
by my regrets,
my eyes faded,
as I had to accept,
that my pain
I had subject,ed,
those around and so care left,
and left me wrecked,
and I took a step,
to holy help,
and tried to forget,
waves of pain crash but I tried to let,
my chances of happiness stay in check,
I was empty,
upset,
and life just kept,
throwing me to the edge,

But notice how I wrote that all in past tense.
