A poem on the wisdom of small children.
.

There are many things a young one knows.

They know where the juiciest apples grow.

Where the first pale snowdrop peeks.

Deep from under winters sleep..

They know how many blue eggs rest.

Up so high in a protected nest.

Children know where echos hide.

In valley and cliffs so wide.

Is it butter that you seek?

A buttercup knows that secret deep.

Where the honey so sweet and clear.

Is gathered by a honey bee,so dear..

Most important, a child knows.

He learned this so long ago.

Mama`s shoulder is the best.

A cozy place in the world,

to snuggle and rest.

And the sweetest dreams belong.

To a mama`s loving lullaby song.
