Lies of Highschool Girls
She dresses up for everyone to see.

Not being who she really wants to be.

Always to Smile always to Act.

Controlled like some domesticated cat.

She screams inside, no one ever hears.

Not fitting in, not being liked. Controlled by Fears.

Who is she if not herself. Is she me or you?

Are we ourselves or are we fakes too?

Perfect hair perfect talk. When will it end?

No she has to be perfect for she cannot fend.

She cannot fend off the pressure or the lies.

She must go on with nothing, not even a sigh.

The one that stand True

Are strong not weak, are the few.

Not following like lemmings, not an animal.

Not fighting the different, like a cannibal.

How she envys they, how

Unlike her, like a servent ready to bow.

She dresses up for everyone to see.

Not being who she really wants to be.
