Memory of father from childhood
Father

Remembrance inspired my father.
His lone son starve for time,
share a meal, Kerby provides indescribable bonding:
food? who cares?!
dessert? Being with him.
Whipped cream and cherry on top,
while we plan our day:
hair cuts and
mending fences,
growing grapes and
my hero.
