My impressions of career day at a middle school
Well it all starts here, like this:

Quiet please. To be still is to be
Successful rooms full of people.
Let us begin with the

Thank you for being here
Come on up you mothers and (step) mothers
Swing those child-born hips towards the stage
So that we can clap for you.

None of this would be possible without
Your hard work
Paves the long road to the future of this
Great Country

                                              ...And to the republic
                                              For which it stands...

Let's bring her up here:
Ms. Shining example of
Don't give up,
Do whatever you like,
Be all you can be,
In spite of yourself.

Thank you. Good morning let's do it again good morning. When I was your age and then it all turned around for me and just look at me now.  Choose your friends.  Don't do drugs.  Hard work, that's right hard work is all it takes and  it doesn't matter what you do but that you do
Something.

So what do you have to say?
And remember,
There are no stupid questions,
Only people who ask them.

Now,

Go on, you
Future stepmothers of America,
Go on and dream.
